Aluminium Stewardship Initiative certifies Alcoa in Brazil and Spain against ASI

Alcoa has successfully achieved three Certifications to the ASI Performance Standard, for the Juruti bauxite mining and Alumar alumina refining operations in Brazil, and for the San Ciprián aluminium smelting operations in Spain. Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) has announced that three Alcoa-operated locations in Brazil and Spain have been successfully certified against ASI’s Performance Standard for responsible production, sourcing and stewardship of aluminium.
