ALFED joins ASI

The Aluminium Federation (ALFED), the UK aluminium association, has joined as an Associations member.

ALFED is the trade association that represents the interests of the whole of the UK aluminium industry. ALFED has more than 70 member companies drawn from every sector of the UK aluminium industry, from primary production and secondary refining through to fabrication, finishing, distribution, stockholding and recycling. Members also include companies supplying the aluminium sector, and those manufacturing in aluminium.

“The Aluminium Federation supports the drive towards transparency in the production of aluminium, and believes this can only increase in importance. Some of our members, such as Alcoa, Rio Tinto and JLR are members of ASI in their own right, and we look forward to engaging with the ASI and informing our members about its development,” said Will Savage, Chief Executive.
