EGA bauxite shipment

Emirates Global Aluminium has announced that the first bauxite bulk sample shipment from its mine under development in the Republic of Guinea has left from the port of Kamsar, bound for bauxite customers in China. The shipment of 55,000 tonnes is an important milestone in EGA’s programme to unlock Chinese and other markets for Guinean bauxite.  EGA is the largest industrial company in the United Arab Emirates outside the oil industry. Guinea Alumina Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EGA, is currently building a major  bauxite mine in Guinea in the largest greenfield investment in that country for four decades.…
