Secondary schools throughout the UK are invited to take part in the Alu D&T Challenge which aims to teach 11-14 year olds about aluminium and the importance of sustainable design.

The Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) has announced the beginning of commercial production of the bauxite mine and alumina refinery of its subsidiary Ma’aden Bauxite and Alumina Company.
